I sprained my ankle at tailing time but carried on and finished the day. By the time I got home I could barely walk. I rung Julene and went and got laser therapy on it that night.
I went to doctor the next day who sent me for X-ray and gave me crutches and told me to rest it for six weeks and go to physio. I went to Julene every day for a week. My physio couldn’t believe how much swelling the laser had taken down. At three weeks I was back drenching lambs up the race and tailing lambs for three days at friends at four weeks. Initially I was dubious about using laser therapy. I had always been a 'suck it up' person until I decided to give Julene a ring and see what it was about.
Julene has been hugely beneficial, not only for me and my horses, but for some of the men on our local Premier rugby team that I medic for as well. I have had a halfback that got cramp in his calf muscles every time he played rugby. After treatment he played the rest of the season pain free.
